My first blog post that is LONG overdue!

Candy Lacquers Vampire Kiss and Dollish Polish Something's Up with Jack over City Color dark gray

Hey everyone! I am super excited to bring to you my very first (and absolutely novice) post. Even more excited that it's about one of my obsessions..... POLISH!!  LOL. If I didn't start now I never would, so disregard the fact that it looks lame and needs some spicing up. I will figure this out slowly, but if you have any tips I am glad to hear. But on to the good stuff and more about me later. :)

This is a mani I decided to do the other night for a pre-Halloween look, though to me it reminds me more of vampire (maybe because of the Candy Lacquer? IDK lol) theme rather than Halloween. That is kind of the cool thing, too.  You can then wear this look after the holiday then.

I started off with 2 coats of this dark gray (yup, that's the name lol) color by City Color from the Masquerade Collection I found from Rite Aid a couple months ago. It's actually really pretty and has a super small shimmer in mostly silver, but you can see some pink and pale green color spread throughout it also. I then used a coat (that I dabbed on) of Candy Lacquers Vampire Kiss and topped it off with a layer  (this time brushed on since it's not as thick of glitter) of Dollish Polish Something's Up with Jack. I then used a coat of Gelous and then 1 (or maybe 2 I can't remember lol) coats of Seche Vite to get it smooth. I love the look of this! The CL is all matte glitter (some are a shiny, not sparkly matte, too) and so I thought the dark purple glitters in the Dollish really add to it. :)

Well, that is it for my first post. I really hope you enjoyed it and there are many more mani posts ready to be made for the future. :)
I am a nail fanatic and have over 2,000 polishes so I would love to post more often (than I think I might, lol) and just need to get a better camera since these are just in indoor lighting and done with my phone. Please let me know any feedback you have for me or any comparison posts you might want to see. I adore indie brands so much and have tons of those, so let me know if you want to see anything in my stash also!

Love,
Rachel
